Bad Break & Guitars To-Go

This Martin D-28 had it's Headstock broken on two different occasions thus, drastic measures were needed to make it hold together.  I inserted 3 carbon fiber rods to span the break.  It got put back together with just a bit of finish touch up at the end.

Only 2 rods are shown here but there is a third in the middle.

I am currently prepping two guitars to take out to both the Boston Guitarfest starting June 15th and then to the Guitar Foundation of America Convention the following week.  Should be fun.
