THINGS AT DIFFERENT STAGES

Here are some pictures of projects in different stages.  I'm putting the finishing touches on a guitar for a customer with a custom scale length, fretboard radius, specific neck shape and thickness, as well as starting another custom project with a really beautiful and dark set of east indian rosewood matched with bearclaw european spruce.  There is also a unique sinkerwood ukulele thrown in just for fun.

I'm also happy to say that when customers request a lacquered finish for the back and sides I can use a less toxic product than in the past.  I've switched from nitrocellulose lacquer to a water based product that really looks like lacquer and because it is a cured finish as opposed to an evaporative one, it may actually be a more durable and solvent resistant choice.
