I haven't posted in a while... so here are some pictures of some of the goings on in the shop.  I have been doing a lot of finishing work... french polishing repair and spraying "lacquer" for other luthiers plus the occasional repair work.  I have also been trying to spend a bit of time each month to do a few shop improvements.   I got rid of some old cabinets I had hanging on the wall and replaced them with some simple tool hanging and holding boards.  I also built a scrap wood bin to help me keep all the wood scrap piles from getting too big and put some storage in the stairwell.   I made some mini planes a while back and may try to make some more this summer.  I have been experimenting and evolving some bracing too.  Pictures are below.  

Here are a few pictures of the most recent completed instruments including two spec guitars for the coming summer music festivals and guitar exhibits.  I will take these to the upcoming 2018 NW Handmade Musical Instrument Exhibit at Marylhurst University and then out to the Koblenz International Guitar festival in a few weeks.
